I always believe that the Thermomix is the real deal, and anything else is just extra, but for completeness and transparency, here are the Thermomix offers for 2021 Q3 from July to September.

July 2021:

As we head into the Autumn and back to routines, I’d like to introduce Tasty Thursdays again. I’ll be hosting demonstrations, workshops, and themed events every fortnight at our branch in Greenwich. My Tasty Thursdays are back from September 16th September from 10:30am-noon, every fortnight.

For those wanting to join me in person at our branch, you are welcome to come on in, cook together, and try the food too. I recently did a cooking class at the branch, and it was so nice to see real people

For those who are unable to come in person, then I’ll be offering virtual access via Zoom.

Discounted Thermomix?

Just last night a customer called me. Having been nagged by his wife to purchase a Thermomix for months, and after weeks of research, he’d found it. A website offering a discounted Thermomix TM6 at a steal. He proceeded to pay via bank transfer and then it dawned on him, he’d been scammed.

No email, no tracking details of delivery, and no Advisor. No Advisor means no demonstration, welcome visit, or continued after-sales service.

There have been more fake websites popping up recently and unfortunately, this isn’t the first time that a customer has reached out to me and said, “I’d love to buy from you, but I’ve seen it cheaper elsewhere”, do you offer discounts? Or they have called me, after they have tried to get it cheaper and then realise it’s a scam.

Vorwerk UK, never discounts a current model, Thermomix TM6; the closest they’ve done is a discounted bundle of the TM6 & TM5 combined, to get rid of old Thermomix TM5 stock (last November during Black Friday). You will never see Vorwerk discounting the Thermomix TM6 and the fake website looks real, but trust me it isn’t.

We know of a lot of people who have been fooled by these sites. Vorwerk/ Thermomix UK gets the websites taken down as soon as we report them, but it takes time to do it and then these con artists open another website. I’ve heard and seen 4 fake websites in the last year and they use all the same branding as Thermomix.

While we’re on the subject, Vorwerk added the option to buy through the website when lockdown started, we have always been a direct selling business, and Thermomix Advisors are not paid a salary, they only earn a commission if someone buys through them. All of the content on personal blogs or websites like this, social media posts, cooking classes and Thermomix demonstrations, classes, etc. are all done for free. We collectively spend hours supporting our current and future customers.

I love supporting my customers but the ability to buy through the website means I can do a demonstration for someone and since the website has been added, their partner or family member can go to the website and buy as a surprise without them knowing and they don’t get the support of me, which is a shame as you get so much more out of your Thermomix being attached to an advisor. I’ve listed all the reasons why it’s important to buy through an Advisor in this previous post.

If you are reading this, I would love to be your Advisor but even if you don’t buy through me, please always go through an authorized Advisor. It doesn’t cost you a penny more but you get the ongoing support if, and when, you need it. There’s nothing more satisfying than helping people get a deal, start a business and become successful. Strangers become customers, customers become friends, friends become family. I really believe that.

Just think of all the recipes you will be able to access during this time!

Cookidoo has over 60,000 recipes in various languages and as you can read from my choices, even if you are not native to that country or speak the language, you can access them by the wonderful Google translate. My Spanish croquettes are to die for and Polish pierogis mouth-watering, Pao de Agua from Portugal is still my favourite go-to bread and well, the Italian Cookidoo is just all scrumptious.
