How to get a discount on a Thermomix? How many times have I been asked this? Too many to mention.

By joining as an Advisor on the earn and demonstrate program, you can “Loan your Thermomix” where you have a 90-day trial period to qualify as an Advisor and earn your free Thermomix.

Why being a Thermomix Advisor is great

Every year, I ask my team to write, their ‘whys’. Why are they in the business and why do they continue to demonstrate? We are all self-employed in our roles as Thermomix Advisors (even me), so it’s truly important to understand each individual’s goals and dreams, and their reflections ‘why’ they are in the business. There’s a reason why even after 13-years I still am in the business and have a mature team of Advisors who stay in the business. The love for Thermomix is obvious a key element, but the team spirit amongst us is a reason to stay.

For many of my team, we were owners first and foremost, or they join the Earn and Demonstrate program and vowed to leave as soon as they have earned their Thermomixes. But then they stay. Initially, saying to themselves it’s just for a one or two, to earn the next incentive or simply for that extra pocket money it provides. They enjoy the comradery of being in our team, the regular branch meetings, and team meetings which bring them a sense of belonging.

Everyone’s journey is different and beautiful, which makes us a diverse team with different goals.

Ah well…

There is nothing quite like the buzz of closing a sale but more importantly knowing the TM really is a great appliance and can help people in so many ways.

It’s also a great pleasure to have these little incidental chats with people that come out of the blue. Recently, my Polish Tesco shop delivery man spotted my TMs through the window and asked me how I was getting on with them…Of course he, his mum, and sister both have one and have had for years.

I’ve said before and I still think it’s true, 3 of the things I enjoy in my life are performing on stage, having fun at a party, and teaching someone something new. Being an advisor…Bingo!!

There are many advantages of being an Advisor from the ability to get a discount on your Thermomix, or earning it for free, by being part of a team, learning more about different cultures and cuisines, diets, and ways of life, earning commissions and Advisor incentives and exclusives from accessories to trips abroad. If you want to make extra money in the UK, then you’re in the right place. The UK is a great place to find work that you can do – where and when it suits you. The role of a Thermomix Advisor is a great way to add additional income to your current job or to start a new career.

Whether you’d prefer to work online when the kids are at school, or would like to find a job that you can do during evenings or weekends, there are plenty of opportunities out there. Some of them are quick money-making ideas, while others are more long-term prospects.

I truly believe that everyone who sees a Thermomix demonstration, will buy, eventually. From my years of experience, sometimes that’s the next day, the next week, month, or even a year. But the more demonstrations you do, showcasing this wonderful kitchen appliance, the more you are building your Thermomix tribe and pipeline. It’s a numbers game. The more demonstrations you do, the more people you show Thermomix to, the more content on social media you share, you are creating awareness of Thermomix, and people will reach out and buy.

We have two ways to join our team (#JointheMixers). The first is Earn and Demonstrate, where we give you a Thermomix and you have 90-days to sell 4 to have a 100% discount on the appliance. From the 5th sale, you earn commissions. The other program is if you already own the latest model of Thermomix, then you can join the Owners program and earn commissions straight away. Discounted Thermomix?

Just last night a customer called me. Having been nagged by his wife to purchase a Thermomix for months, and after weeks of research, he’d found it. A website offering a discounted Thermomix TM6 at a steal. He proceeded to pay via bank transfer and then it dawned on him, he’d been scammed.

No email, no tracking details of delivery, and no Advisor. No Advisor means no demonstration, welcome visit, or continued after-sales service.

There have been more fake websites popping up recently and unfortunately, this isn’t the first time that a customer has reached out to me and said, “I’d love to buy from you, but I’ve seen it cheaper elsewhere”, do you offer discounts? Or they have called me, after they have tried to get it cheaper and then realise it’s a scam.

Vorwerk UK, never discounts a current model, Thermomix TM6; the closest they’ve done is a discounted bundle of the TM6 & TM5 combined, to get rid of old Thermomix TM5 stock (last November during Black Friday). You will never see Vorwerk discounting the Thermomix TM6 and the fake website looks real, but trust me it isn’t.

We know of a lot of people who have been fooled by these sites. Vorwerk/ Thermomix UK gets the websites taken down as soon as we report them, but it takes time to do it and then these con artists open another website. I’ve heard and seen 4 fake websites in the last year and they use all the same branding as Thermomix.

While we’re on the subject, Vorwerk added the option to buy through the website when lockdown started, we have always been a direct selling business, and Thermomix Advisors are not paid a salary, they only earn a commission if someone buys through them. All of the content on personal blogs or websites like this, social media posts, cooking classes and Thermomix demonstrations, classes, etc. are all done for free. We collectively spend hours supporting our current and future customers.

I love supporting my customers but the ability to buy through the website means I can do a demonstration for someone and since the website has been added, their partner or family member can go to the website and buy as a surprise without them knowing and they don’t get the support of me, which is a shame as you get so much more out of your Thermomix being attached to an advisor. I’ve listed all the reasons why it’s important to buy through an Advisor in this previous post.

It doesn’t cost you a penny more but you get the ongoing support if, and when, you need it. There’s nothing more satisfying than helping people get a deal, start a business and become successful. Strangers become customers, customers become friends, friends become family. I really believe that.
