How to get a discount on a Thermomix? How many times have I been asked this? Too many to mention.

What is the Thermomix Offer?

How many times have I had customers waiting for that perfect customer offer and after waiting for 1, 2, 3, or even 6 months, wish that they had bought sooner? Not once or twice, but all the time. They missed the Thermomix Swap in January, the Thermomix TM6 Noir offer in February/ March, the Thermomix Friend bundle last year, or more recently the Thermomix bowl offer.

As much as I personally would love to give you these missed offers, I can’t. The point of it being a monthly offer is that when the month is over, the deal is over too. You wouldn’t walk into Hermes and ask for a discount on the Birkin, would you? Or to Apple and expect last month’s offer to still be valid? Or even ask Tesla to throw in their leather seats as an upgrade?

Thermomix will save you time in the kitchen. The reason we all grab those ready meals or take-aways is we are time-poor. The Thermomix will save you up to 45 minutes per meal, most of which you can be sitting down with a glass of wine relaxing or catching up on something else.
The Thermomix will save you cleaning up. One bowl, one blade does it all. Full meals. The Thermomix bowl can easily just be pulled apart and every part of the bowl is dishwasher safe.
Having a Thermomix in your kitchen will save you money. The average Thermomix customer will save 20-25% a week. For me, a family of 4, our average weekly shop is £100, so that’s £25 per week. I recall a friend and client who said she wasn’t a cook but a dresser. How do you dress food? Well, she explained it by purchasing ready-made meals from Waitrose and then dressing them with vegetables and salads. Her bill was close to £250 a week, so this halved immediately.
The Thermomix will also help you meal plan and keep shopping costs down. The Cookidoo planner will help you create shopping lists so there is no food waste. Only need 300g chicken, that’s great.

Discounted Thermomix?

Just last night a customer called me. Having been nagged by his wife to purchase a Thermomix for months, and after weeks of research, he’d found it. A website offering a discounted Thermomix TM6 at a steal. He proceeded to pay via bank transfer and then it dawned on him, he’d been scammed.

No email, no tracking details of delivery, and no Advisor. No Advisor means no demonstration, welcome visit, or continued after-sales service.

There have been more fake websites popping up recently and unfortunately, this isn’t the first time that a customer has reached out to me and said, “I’d love to buy from you, but I’ve seen it cheaper elsewhere”, do you offer discounts? Or they have called me, after they have tried to get it cheaper and then realise it’s a scam.

Vorwerk UK, never discounts a current model, Thermomix TM6; the closest they’ve done is a discounted bundle of the TM6 & TM5 combined, to get rid of old Thermomix TM5 stock (last November during Black Friday). You will never see Vorwerk discounting the Thermomix TM6 and the fake website looks real, but trust me it isn’t.

We know of a lot of people who have been fooled by these sites. Vorwerk/ Thermomix UK gets the websites taken down as soon as we report them, but it takes time to do it and then these con artists open another website. I’ve heard and seen 4 fake websites in the last year and they use all the same branding as Thermomix.

While we’re on the subject, Vorwerk added the option to buy through the website when lockdown started, we have always been a direct selling business, and Thermomix Advisors are not paid a salary, they only earn a commission if someone buys through them. All of the content on personal blogs or websites like this, social media posts, cooking classes and Thermomix demonstrations, classes, etc. are all done for free. We collectively spend hours supporting our current and future customers.

I love supporting my customers but the ability to buy through the website means I can do a demonstration for someone and since the website has been added, their partner or family member can go to the website and buy as a surprise without them knowing and they don’t get the support of me, which is a shame as you get so much more out of your Thermomix being attached to an advisor. I’ve listed all the reasons why it’s important to buy through an Advisor in this previous post.
