Understanding the Thermomix TM7 Launch

Dear Clients – past, present, and future,

I’ve seen some comments and questions about the TM7 launch, and I wanted to take a moment to address them directly.

Last year, Vorwerk issued an official statement saying there would not be a new model in 2024. This was in response to widespread speculation and rumours, particularly from social media influencers. The goal was to stop unnecessary misinformation, as no company pre-announces new products before they are ready for launch.

It’s interesting how other manufacturers release new technology—whether it’s cars, phones, or home appliances—shortly after people buy previous models, and it’s widely accepted as part of innovation. Yet when Vorwerk updates the Thermomix (or even the Kobold), there are complaints about timing. No manufacturer announces a new product until it’s officially ready, to protect current sales and ensure a successful launch.

As independent Advisors, we only find out when the public does. Technology moves fast, and investing in a product always carries the possibility that a new model could be released soon after. That’s simply the nature of evolving technology!

Looking at Thermomix’s lifecycle, the TM5 was on the market for 5-6 years before the TM6 was released, and now, after another 5-6 years, the TM7 has arrived. To stay ahead of the competition and continue offering the best in kitchen innovation, new technology must be developed and launched. This could mean more frequent updates as advancements continue.

Whether you’re excited about the cutting-edge TM7 or happy with the tried-and-tested TM6, the great news is—you have a choice! Both are fantastic machines, and I’m here to help you decide what works best for you.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

Best wishes, Ankita
