How to get a discount on a Thermomix? How many times have I been asked this? Too many to mention.

Sounds too good to be true? That’s why before you purchase, at the very start of your journey, you are connected to an authorised salesperson, an Advisor (like me) who will explain via either a face-to-face demonstration or an online presentation via Zoom the benefits of Thermomix, and specifically tailored to you and your family needs. This is part of our 5-star service that we offer anyone considering purchasing a Thermomix. The demonstration and conversation are specific to you, which is why, even though I record and add things on YouTube, I still encourage people to have a demonstration.

By joining as an Advisor on the earn and demonstrate program, you can “Loan your Thermomix” where you have a 90-day trial period to qualify as an Advisor and earn your free Thermomix.

???? If you make 2 sales in your 90 days, you receive a 50% discount on your Thermomix.
???? If you make 3 sales in your 90 days, you receive a 80% discount on your Thermomix.

If you decide not to continue, your borrowed Thermomix is returned to Thermomix UK and you have no financial obligation. Discounted Thermomix?

Just last night a customer called me. Having been nagged by his wife to purchase a Thermomix for months, and after weeks of research, he’d found it. A website offering a discounted Thermomix TM6 at a steal. He proceeded to pay via bank transfer and then it dawned on him, he’d been scammed.

No email, no tracking details of delivery, and no Advisor. No Advisor means no demonstration, welcome visit, or continued after-sales service.

There have been more fake websites popping up recently and unfortunately, this isn’t the first time that a customer has reached out to me and said, “I’d love to buy from you, but I’ve seen it cheaper elsewhere”, do you offer discounts? Or they have called me, after they have tried to get it cheaper and then realise it’s a scam.

Vorwerk UK, never discounts a current model, Thermomix TM6; the closest they’ve done is a discounted bundle of the TM6 & TM5 combined, to get rid of old Thermomix TM5 stock (last November during Black Friday). You will never see Vorwerk discounting the Thermomix TM6 and the fake website looks real, but trust me it isn’t.

We know of a lot of people who have been fooled by these sites. Vorwerk/ Thermomix UK gets the websites taken down as soon as we report them, but it takes time to do it and then these con artists open another website. I’ve heard and seen 4 fake websites in the last year and they use all the same branding as Thermomix.

While we’re on the subject, Vorwerk added the option to buy through the website when lockdown started, we have always been a direct selling business, and Thermomix Advisors are not paid a salary, they only earn a commission if someone buys through them. All of the content on personal blogs or websites like this, social media posts, cooking classes and Thermomix demonstrations, classes, etc. are all done for free. We collectively spend hours supporting our current and future customers.

I love supporting my customers but the ability to buy through the website means I can do a demonstration for someone and since the website has been added, their partner or family member can go to the website and buy as a surprise without them knowing and they don’t get the support of me, which is a shame as you get so much more out of your Thermomix being attached to an advisor. I’ve listed all the reasons why it’s important to buy through an Advisor in this previous post.
