Hey there, lovely Thermomix crew! Welcome to my April Newsletter – I hope you all had a fab spring holiday with Easter Bank Holiday Weekend and for those participating in Ramadan, Eid Mubarak! I hope it was a special time with your loved ones. My kids have had 3-weeks off school, so this week brings us back to the Summer Term and a final push of the academic year. That means sunshine, mango season (I can’t wait), exams, and summer holidays. We also got a new addition to the family this holiday, so I’ll be out and about more in the next few months. For those paw parents, watch out for me to explore the new food menus and wonder, can I make that in my Thermomix? I think I can.

The price of the Thermomix TM6 increased on Tuesday 2nd January 2024. We are not immune to the significant cost increases of recent years. We have absorbed these for some time. However, as our manufacturer (Vorwerk) continues to incur rising costs to production and thus an increased cost of goods, it was now appropriate to reflect this in our TM6 pricing.

We understand that a price increase might not be the news you were hoping for, especially now. As always we want to make Thermomix more affordable. We continue to have flexible payment options including spread and divided payments, plus the opportunity to earn a Thermomix with your time, not your wallet. It’s worth every single penny.

Making Thermomix more affordable

We continue with our affordability plan and this month, to counteract the price increase we are offering all our customers who purchase in January 2024, Thermomix head office offer is a 3-year extra warranty making it a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty.

The real deal is always actually owning a Thermomix in the first place, but for those who like a deal, we have some good news. We want to make Thermomix affordable and offer extra peace of mind for that investment you are making with us.

Why this is a good offer?

Thermomix warranty is usually 2 years for domestic households, this offer extended it for another 3 years meaning you have a 5-year manufacturer warranty until January 2029. The warranty period begins from the moment the appliance is delivered.
The cost saving is £149, and equivalent to the cost of 2-year interest payments – so think of this offer as 0% finance for either 1-year (£98.84 saving) or 2-years (£194.36 saving). Even if you take the 3-year finance plan, the cost of the finance is £294.20 over 36 months, and now you are getting this at a 50% discount. What is the Always Bundle?

Thermomix TM6 plus Second Bowl, priced at £1349.

It’s actually also a £9 saving, as £1189 + £169 = £1358. So for £1349, you are saving £9 on the bundle and £104.32 interest at £14.9% APR.

Why would you want a second bowl?

Spreading the cost of Thermomix is always advantageous and I’m a huge advocate of purchasing on finance even with the 11.9% interest rate. But when it’s a 0% month, it’s a no-brainer.

12-month plan: £99.08 per month (saving £74.00)
24-month plan: £49.54 per month (saving £144.92)
36-month plan: £33.03 per month (saving £218.24)

On the 36-month finance plan, it’s £33.03 a month which is less than the cost of a mobile phone contract.
