Commercial Testimonials
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]In addition to being loved by domestic cooks around the world, Thermomix is also becoming increasingly popular in professional kitchens, with celebrity chefs such as Heston Blumenthal praising its versatility and practicality. Heston’s famous meat fruit served at ‘Dinner by Heston Blumenthal’ is known to exclusively need a Thermomix to deliver the consistency and smoothness of the dish.
Thermomix UK has just announced that they will be working with the incredible Monica Galetti who will be promoting tips, tricks, and recipe inspiration for the TM6! Monica is the co-creator and chef-proprietor of fine-dining restaurant, Mere. Known for her work on BBC as Masterchef: The Professionals judge and working with the likes of Michel Roux Jr in the famous Le Gavroche, Monica has definitely become a household name across the globe synonymous with delicious, high-quality dishes.
Of course, Monica is no stranger to me, I’ve met her several times at The Good Food Show where she and several chefs come up to me and have said how they love Thermomix. Also with me is Chef Cyrus Todiwala from Cafe Spice Namaste.[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][us_single_image image=”3985″ size=”us_350_346_crop”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][us_single_image image=”3986″ size=”us_350_346_crop”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]In a professional kitchen, Thermomix offers control over speed, temperatures and cooking times to offer consistent results, every single time. The ability to set the Thermomix to automatically perform even delicate tasks such as preparing a crème pâtissière, beurre blanc and chocolate ganaches is an invaluable timesaver. It’s like having an extra pair of hands or a sous chef in your kitchen
I’m fortunate to not only sold to professional, commercial kitchens but also to entrepreneurs who have used their Thermomixes to set up businesses.

“In my kitchen at work the Thermomix is the most used thing. It’s like a high-powered blender that heats things as it liquidises them. It is unrivalled when it comes to making purées or flavoured oils or fresh hollandaise.”

“A Thermomix. As well as being a solid, all-round blender, it’s so versatile – it can puree and heat at the same time, which is great for soups and sauces, even stews.”

Avni Gohil, AVNI – a very nice idea

My Thermomix was the key to starting my business
[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][us_single_image image=”673″ align=”center”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]The ethos around my business is to help people make good food at home quickly whilst reducing food and packaging waste: you can make a meal with just ten minutes’ prep time, the blends come in portion sizes and the packaging can be composted.
The idea of starting the business came to me when I was moving and had so many store cupboard ingredients that were too old to take with me to my new place so I ended up chucking them away. It was heartbreaking to see it all go to waste. I wanted to create a less wasteful, more efficient way to shop and cook. I realised that if I had the option to buy just as much as I needed of certain ingredients it would be cheaper in the end as less food would go to waste. That’s when it dawned on me – we need to ability to buy just as much as we need for a recipe.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]It was important to me that we offer our products in a sustainable way and so I started looking for compostable packaging. I didn’t want biodegradable packaging which takes longer to decompose, it had to be capable of being composted in a home compost bin – some compostable packaging can only be composted in an industrial composter. I found a company that make packaging that looks like a clear plastic film but actually it’s made of wood pulp. I was so excited, I had found a way to offer people a way to get just the right amount of product in a sustainable and affordable way! We’ve seen that people are more keen than ever to reduce food and packaging waste, which is great news. We’ve seen the supermarket Iceland promising to go plastic-free on their own-branded goods within five years and the EU saying that all packaging must be reusable or recyclable by 2030. We’ve taking this one step further as our packaging can be composted so there is no excess carbon footprint associated with recycling.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][us_single_image image=”672″ align=”center”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I never planned my business around the Thermomix but it has been essential in getting my business up and running! I started with a curry blend, it was so easy in the Thermomix because I could weigh, grind, roast and blend all in one machine. It saved so much time. As I already had a Thermomix I didn’t have to invest in expensive machinery. It was great because I can depend on the Thermomix to perform, I know it won’t break down on me or lose its grinding power even though I grind whole spices which tend to be quite hard. There were a few times I needed to make my blends in a different location and with the carry case I was able to transport the Thermomix by train fairly easily. Without the Thermomix there would be no way I could have started my business.
Since the early days I have bought another Thermomix and expanded my range to include blends to make falafel, tagine, risotto, peri peri seasoning…the list goes on and I even make muffin and cake mixes. All my products are made with only dry ingredients so that you can add easy to obtain fresh ingredients and oils according to your diet, budget and lifestyle. For example, with the falafel you just add oil and water, with the tagine you add tomatoes, oil and your choice of fish, meat or veg. All the ingredients you need to add are easy to get – no hunting down exotic ingredients, the whole point is to make your life easier!
I am so glad I started the business, I love the Thermomix being an integral part of the business because we share the same aim – super quick easy cooking with minimal waste.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row disable_element=”yes”][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Thanks Ankita for indroducing me in the magic world of Thermomix!
[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]I love cooking and I bought a Thermomix to make my life easier. Now, at home, we cook healthier meals easily, while I help my kids with their homework, do (other) household chores or simply sit down and catch up with my hands while dinner is cooking.
After a couple of weeks of having my Thermomix for ‘home’ use, I soon realised, that the Thermomix could help me in my cake business.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner content_placement=”middle”][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Thermomix makes:
– my Swiss buttercream easily and quick without using three different bowls
– my almond flour for my macaroons or the heart cake (in the pic)
– my hazelnut spread (also known as ‘Nutella’)
– my mini meringues
– my brownies
– my fruit purée or couli
– my fresh jam
– my mousse
– my cakes
– my icing sugar so I don’t need to pay a fortune to buy the icing one.
…and many, many, many others.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][us_single_image image=”765″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row]
