Hey there, lovely Thermomix crew! Welcome to my April Newsletter – I hope you all had a fab spring holiday with Easter Bank Holiday Weekend and for those participating in Ramadan, Eid Mubarak! I hope it was a special time with your loved ones. My kids have had 3-weeks off school, so this week brings us back to the Summer Term and a final push of the academic year. That means sunshine, mango season (I can’t wait), exams, and summer holidays. We also got a new addition to the family this holiday, so I’ll be out and about more in the next few months. For those paw parents, watch out for me to explore the new food menus and wonder, can I make that in my Thermomix? I think I can.

The Thermomix TM31 was last produced in mid-2014, which means that from June this year, Thermomix can no longer guarantee the availability of parts to support the service of TM31s.

Beat the price increase with our 5-year peace of mind warranty

The price of the Thermomix TM6 increased on Tuesday 2nd January 2024. We are not immune to the significant cost increases of recent years. We have absorbed these for some time. However, as our manufacturer (Vorwerk) continues to incur rising costs to production and thus an increased cost of goods, it was now appropriate to reflect this in our TM6 pricing.

We understand that a price increase might not be the news you were hoping for, especially now. As always we want to make Thermomix more affordable. We continue to have flexible payment options including spread and divided payments, plus the opportunity to earn a Thermomix with your time, not your wallet. It’s worth every single penny.

Making Thermomix more affordable

We continue with our affordability plan and this month, to counteract the price increase we are offering all our customers who purchase in January 2024, Thermomix head office offer is a 3-year extra warranty making it a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty.

The real deal is always actually owning a Thermomix in the first place, but for those who like a deal, we have some good news. We want to make Thermomix affordable and offer extra peace of mind for that investment you are making with us.

So in my opinion, the Thermomix Friend is amazing. Just like any product that Vorwerk brings out, this is game-changing and ahead of the times. It’s the most perfect accessory for our Thermomixes. The price point is approximately half the cost of a Thermomix, so with that, the features and capabilities are also reduced. But as an accessory, it’s amazing; you will love it as much as you love your Thermomix.

DO YOU REALLY NEED IT?

Well, that is the million-dollar (or pound) question, isn’t it?

If you have a Thermomix TM5 or Thermomix TM6 and need more capacity, then I think it’s great. Priced at £529 for the base and bowl bundle, this is an excellent option to upscale your kitchen. You’ll on my YouTube channels, that I have really been enjoying using the Thermomix Friend multiple times each week since I received mine in December 2020. I use it mainly for making rice or potatoes and then using the Varoma to steam above it.

I have had many customers who currently have a Thermomix TM5 and were thinking of upgrading to Thermomix TM6 and Thermomix Friend. At this point, my independent opinion is to keep your Thermomix TM5 and upgrade to the Thermomix TM6. Why? Well, we’ve always said, what’s better than one Thermomix but two? Having two Thermomixes gives you the capability of truly doubling your cooking experience and if you have space, then keep it. We all know the value of a Thermomix once we have one in our kitchen, and if upgrading means selling yours, then we also know that the resale market doesn’t really appreciate the real value it. You are likely to get £600-750 for a Thermomix TM5 on the second-hand market, but it’s probably worth a lot more than that in reality.

But if you have a TM31 or a previous model, or are new to Thermomix completely, then this deal on the Thermomix Friend Bundle is amazing. Just like any product that Vorwerk brings out, this is game-changing and ahead of the times. It’s the most perfect accessory for our Thermomixes. A second bowl is £169, which is something I always recommend, so for just £30 extra, you are really getting a steal.

For September 2023, the Thermomix Friend Bundle is only £199, saving you £330. For what it’s worth, a second bowl is normally £169; you are essentially getting the Friend for £30. It’s a no-brainer.

Vorwerk celebrates its 140th Birthday this year and has introduced the Thermomix TM6 limited edition: in sparkling black diamond!

The LIMITED EDITION Thermomix Diamond Black TM6 is available for sale in the UK today.

Thermomix 0% and Second Bowl Offer plus BCP

Let’s move on to the next offer of our bumper June Grand Prix month.

What is Thermomix Grand Prix? It’s a 5-week period, started only in 2022, where Vorwerk countries compete against each other to be the best of the best. Do you care as a customer or potential customer? No? That’s absolutely fine. But what it means for you is 5-weeks for super customer offers to entice you to buy a Thermomix this month.
