The Thermomix® TM6? Total kitchen rockstar. It swooped in back in 2019, wowed us with fancy sous-vide, slow cooking, and guided recipes galore, and hasn’t let up since. But you know how it is with tech—there’s always the next thing. And now, whispers about a TM7 are flying around faster than fresh bread dough in a Thermomix® bowl.
So… is the TM7 coming soon? What will it do? And most importantly: **should you wait for it or just grab a TM6 now?** Let’s get into it. (Spoiler: I’ve got opinions.)
When Could We See the TM7?
If history is any clue, we might be close. The TM5 dropped in 2014, followed by the TM6 in 2019. If Vorwerk follows a similar pattern, a TM7 could be around the corner in 2025 or 2026.
But don’t panic. No one’s going to snatch your TM6 away. And trust me, it’s not going to turn into a pumpkin when the TM7 finally arrives.

Built-in Camera for “Smart” CookingPicture this: the TM7 watches your cooking for you (literally) and makes sure nothing goes wrong. Burnt caramel? Nope, not on this robot’s watch. ‘Hey, your onions are browning too fast, want me to lower the heat? The dream.
Voice Control Cooking can be messy, and sometimes you can’t touch the screen without turning it into a sticky crime scene. Enter voice control. “Hey Thermie, set a timer for 10 minutes,” or “Start kneading that dough”… no hands required!
Cordless with a Rechargeable Battery A battery-powered Thermomix® you can take anywhere. Imagine blending your smoothies *in the garden* or moving it around the kitchen with no cords to trip over—total game-changer.

I never rush to upgrade. I don’t buy the newest phone or the latest car every year. I like to enjoy what I have, make the most of it, and upgrade when it makes sense—not just because it’s shiny and new.
The TM6 is still a kitchen superhero. It’s constantly getting updates, adding new features, and keeping up with the times. You won’t feel like you’ve missed out if you buy one now. (And if you do? Just blame me)

Whether the TM7 launches next month or next year, one thing’s for sure: the Thermomix® is the best kitchen gadget you’ll ever own.
